Corporate Background
In the mid 1990’s IBM introduced the MQSeries software to help disparate systems work together within the middleware management space of the IT infrastructure. Recognizing the need for applications to support this type of software, MQSoftware was founded. Initially the company offered training and consulting in the IT space while developing its flagship product. With the launch of Q Pasa!, MQSoftware became the company of choice for monitoring messages sent between applications.
The MQSoftware product suite is designed to address key business and technical issues in operations and development for today’s agile enterprise through a family of products providing real-time data capture, action and analysis backed by comprehensive reporting and supported by powerful tools built for multi-platform infrastructures enabling precision control of customer service and cost-control.
Together with Q Pasa!, the acquisition of AppWatch, StatWatch and foundation for DataFlow Studio placed MQSoftware in the leadership position for serving IT managers and developers within a variety of horizontal markets.
Market Evolution
Until recently, the CIO and IT staff were the primary drivers of enterprise development and functionality within an organization. Although they remain accountable for the entire infrastructure, a paradigm shift has evolved. Today, Line of Business (LOB) management is increasingly interested in enterprise performance as it relates to bottom line results. Increasingly, it is not uncommon to find CIO’s with background experience in LOB.
MQSoftware Response
Recognizing this shift towards LOB, the primary target buyer for MQSoftware has expanded from one entry point within an organization to multiple entry points based upon the business issue. With executive management teams, MQSoftware can demonstrate the higher value uses for the data we collect, such as customer service levels, rapid problem identification, and assured transaction delivery. With the launch of Q Nami!, MQSoftware is uniquely positioned in the market as the only solution provider who can monitor real transactions, collect data and provide reporting tools to optimize a client’s business.
