Senior Mainframe Developer
MQSoftware has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong experience in C and Assembler development under IBM z/OS.
The candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- C Programming on the Mainframe (other systems considered)
- Strong Assembler Programming Background
- Cross Memory Programming
The ideal candidate would also have experience in several of the following areas:
- TCP/IP
- Socket Programming
- Multi-threaded/ tasking Programming LE enclaves
- z/OS or other mainframe System Programming and Systems Administration
- WebSphere MQ
- CICS
- DB2 for z/OS
- IMS
- Other Middleware (TIBCO, etc.)
Exposure to additional platforms a plus:
- UNIX (AIX, Solaris, HP/UX, or Linux)
- Other Platform Development (OS/400, Tandem, OpenVMS, etc.)
- Windows Programming
- Visual C++ Development on Windows
- SQL databases
