WebSphere Message Broker Developer
MQSoftware is looking for an experienced consultant to develop and implement enterprise service bus applications using WebSphere Message Broker. Responsibilities will include developing quality ESB services between provider and consumer services for our Fortune 500 level clients. MQSoftware develops and sells software in the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and middleware markets based around the IBM WebSphere family of products. The typical assignments would be short to medium term engagements at locations local to our client base requiring travel 50+% of the time.
The candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years developing applications using Websphere Message Broker v5 and v6
- Detailed working knowledge of WMB and WMQ
- Solid understanding of WSRR
- XML Messaging and experience using MRM
- 3-5 years experience in middleware development in a consulting environment
- Java programming
- Other programming experience (C, C++, VB, Perl, etc.)
- Familiarity with ClearCase
- DB2/Oracle/SQL Server
- Experienced with Solaris and z/OS platforms
- Working knowledge of multiple platforms and databases
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Travel required: Up to 50% depending on location
