Q Nami! Management Architecture Review

Does your existing SOA and Integration environment comply with established management best practices? Can you find the location of data, orders, trades, etc.in your system in a minute? Can you do a 30 second health check of each one of your business processes on demand? Do you know whether you met your Service Level Agreements today? Are you meeting them right now? Can you get a clear report within 1 minute describing the number of transactions of each type you processed during any time period? How about the total value of those transactions?

If you have Q Nami! you will be able to do all of these things. An MQSoftware Q Nami! Management Architecture Review can help you get a plan in place to enable these capabilities. A Senior MQSoftware Architect will review your existing SOA and Integration management implementation for best practice compliance including business level reporting, transaction, problem, operations, and performance management. Based on this review, the Consultant will make recommendations for improvement and compile this information into a formal document containing the recommendations and plans for their implementation. If you are interested in a purely technical review without the business based reporting, transaction, and payload management, see the Q Pasa! Management Architecture Review.

Architecture Review deliverables:

  • Documentation of the existing Q Nami! and SOA/Integration management environment including business level reporting, transaction, payload, problem, operations, and performance management.
  • A formal Findings document describing compliance of the existing practices and environment with established best practices in the Q Nami! management community.
  • A list of recommendations for improvement of the existing environment and practices.
  • Proposed Implementation plans for each primary recommendation.

Architecture Review prerequisites:

  • An existing operational Q Nami! environment and fundamental knowledge of its operation. MQSoftware can also conduct more general reviews of your management infrastructure if you are not using Q Nami! For content of such reviews, see the MQSoftware SOA Management Architecture Review.
  • Appropriate personnel including Q Nami! and middleware administrators, developers, and architects must be available for meetings and discussion.

Duration: 1-3 weeks depending upon the scope of the review and the size of the implementation. 2 weeks is the most common review engagement length.
