Extension Services Offering Development deliverables:
- Well-written and documented code for a Q Pasa! Agent Extension to monitor the specified technology and meet your monitoring requirements.
- Deployment and testing of the developed code on the specified target platform.
- Generation of standard physical object dashboard views summarizing and describing each of the monitored objects.
- Creation of one standard event and one standard history template for each monitored object. Note that subsequent alerts, history, and dashboards may be added as part of a Q Pasa! Administrative Assistance project.
Extension Services Offering Development prerequisites:
- An existing operational Q Pasa! environment and fundamental knowledge of its operation.
- Documentation of the technology to be monitored or the documentation is publicly available. This must include one or more of the following:
Administrative API (either product proprietary or standards based such as JMX)
Log File Structure
Data Repository (Database Repository)
Mod/Exit Structure
Other appropriate mechanism to retrieve data from the product to be monitored
Duration: 3-6 weeks depending upon the complexity of the technology to be monitored
