Overview:
This one day course is an introductory discussion of WebSphere Message Broker at a high level focused on providing the student with an understanding of the WebSphere Message Broker product architecture and functionality. In this course you will gain an overview of IBM’s WebSphere Message Broker product. This course is designed for high-level technical managers wishing to have a brief introduction to WebSphere Message Broker without the detail attendant in MQSoftware’s more technical courses.
Note this course is not a prerequisite to those courses. Similar introductory courses are available for the other technologies in the WebSphere Business Integration Family (see courses numbered MQS111X).
Who should take this course:
This course is designed for high-level technical managers. Architects wishing a more thorough introduction to the product family as a whole should consider our MQS1181 course.
Topics Include:
- An introductory discussion of WebSphere Message Broker at a high level focused on the Product Architecture
- WebSphere Message Broker message flow and message set development, team development environment
- WebSphere Message Broker nodes, their terminals and properties related to the design and development of message flows.
Prerequisites:
Familiarity with WebSphere MQ and application design would be beneficial.
