MQS1115: MQSoftware Product Family Manager's Technical Introduction

Overview:

This one day course is an introductory discussion of the MQSoftware family of products including Q Pasa!, Q Nami!, App Watch, Stat Watch, and DataFlow Studio at a high level focused on providing the student with an understanding of the MQSoftware product architecture and functionality.

Who Should Take This Course:

This course is designed for high-level technical managers wishing to have a brief introduction to MQSoftware products without the detail attendant in MQSoftware’s more technical courses. Note this course is not a prerequisite to those courses. Similar introductory courses are available for the other technologies in the WebSphere Business Integration Family (see courses numbered MQS111X). Architects wishing a more thorough introduction to MQSoftware’s relationship to the WebSphere product family as a whole should consider our MQS1181 course.

Topics Include:

• An introductory discussion of Q Pasa!, Q Nami!, App Watch, Stat Watch, and DataFlow Studio at a high level focused on the product architecture
• Q Pasa! Events, Q Pasa! Custom Dashboards, Q Pasa! History and Reporting
• Q Nami! Transaction Pathways, and Q Nami! Reporting and Analysis

Prerequisites:

Before taking this course, you should have previous technical experience in working with software. Skills and experience in one of the following areas will enable you to derive the most from this course: Communications and networking, System and network management, System design, Transaction processing, Client/server solutions, Platform knowledge.
