MQS1120: WebSphere MQ Clustering Workshop
Overview:
If you are looking to add to your WebSphere MQ system administration skills in the new area of WebSphere MQ Clustering, our MQSoftware 3-day Workshop will provide you with the critical skills necessary to configure, manage and troubleshoot a WebSphere MQ (MQSeries) Cluster.
Designed to simplify WebSphere MQ cluster administration, this workshop covers all of the distributed WebSphere MQ platforms including Windows 2000/XP/2003, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX. All of the hands on exercises can be completed using a command interface into WebSphere MQ, which is reproducible, scriptable and universal to all operating systems.
Attendees will gain experience in setting up three types of clusters:
- Simple Clustering
- Overlapping Clustering
- Gateway Clustering
Implementations are tested using sample programs available with any WebSphere MQ distributed installation. Common clustering problems and their resolution is also covered in detail through lecture, discussion and hands-on lab sessions. Lab sessions in this course apply to all distributed WebSphere MQ platforms.
