MQS1121: WebSphere MQ Express Technical Training (Dist Platforms)
Overview:
All in One for The Distributed Platform User. This Training Course will provide you with the critical skills necessary to thoroughly understand the installation, administration and programming use of the WebSphere MQ product when installed on a distributed platform.
Designed to quickly maximize your WebSphere MQ administrative and programming skills, this training course is a cross-platform class covering all of the distributed WebSphere MQ platforms including Windows 2000/XP/2003, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX. All of the hands on exercises will be completed using the command interface into WebSphere MQ, which is reproducible, scriptable and universal to all operating systems. Coverage of the Programming interface (MQI) will be in the C, C++, C#, COBOL and Java languages with reference to Visual Basic and JMS language requirements (for a detailed JMS oriented presentation of equivalent material, see the MQS1121J course).
The course uses extensive exercises to reinforce the tutorial information, thus allowing the student to fully explore and gain real-world experience with the WebSphere MQ product.
Exercises in public courses are performed in a Windows environment. Detailed exercise instructions for the same tasks in other environments are also available. Private courses at customer locations may be taught in AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, iSeries, or z/OS environments. In the iSeries environment, RPG versions of the programming exercises are also available.
