MQS1121X: WebSphere MQ/XMS Express Technical Training

All in One for The Distributed Platform User. This Training Course will provide you with the critical skills necessary to thoroughly understand the installation, administration and programming use of the WebSphere MQ product when installed on a distributed platform, to make full use of the eXtensible Message Service (XMS) standard. Designed to quickly maximize your WebSphere MQ administrative and programming skills, this training course is a cross-platform class covering all of the distributed WebSphere MQ platforms including Windows 2000/2003/XP, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX. All of the hands on exercises will be completed using the command interface into WebSphere MQ, which is reproducible, scriptable and universal to all operating systems. Coverage of the XMS Application Programming interface will detail all messaging domains and key features of the XMS specification. The course uses extensive exercises to reinforce the tutorial information, thus allowing the student to fully explore and gain real-world experience with the WebSphere MQ product.

Prerequisites:

Before taking this course, you should have previous technical experience in working with software. In order to complete the programming labs you must have a working knowledge of C, C++, or C#. Skills and experience in one of the following areas will enable you to derive the most from this course: Communications and networking, system and network management, system design, transaction processing, client/server solutions, or platform knowledge.

This course can help you prepare for IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere MQ Version 6.0.
