MQS1128: WebSphere MQ Technical Boot Camp
Overview:
If you are looking to gain WebSphere MQ system administration skills in configuring and managing a WebSphere MQ network, our MQSoftware 5-day Technical Boot Camp will provide you with the critical skills necessary to install, configure, manage and troubleshoot a WebSphere MQ network. Designed to quickly maximize your WebSphere MQ administrative skills, this training course is a cross platform class covering all of the WebSphere MQ platforms including Windows 2000/XP, iSeries, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX. All of the hands on exercises are completed using a command interface into WebSphere MQ, which is reproducible, scriptable and universal to all operating systems. Public class exercises are performed in a Windows environment. Detailed exercise instructions are provided for performing the same tasks on AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, iSeries, and z/OS. Private classes at customer locations may be performed on any of these operating systems upon request.
Attendees will gain experience in setting up queue managers, both point-to-point and clustered channels, queues, triggers and clients using sample programs to test the network. All the major components of WebSphere MQ will be covered in detail through lecture, discussion and hands-on lab sessions. Lab sessions in this course apply to all distributed WebSphere MQ platforms.
